PET Patulous Eustachian Tube

Patulous Eustachian Tube (P.E.T.), is an odd condition where the Eustachian tube doesn’t quite close properly.  The Eustachian tube is a normally closed tube that runs from the ear to the inside of the mouth.  When you are in an aeroplane, and your ears ‘pop’, it is this tube that is allowing some air through to normalize the pressure inside your ears.

When people suffer from PET, because the tube remains open, they can’t hear properly, and when they press on a certain point on the jaw, the tube closes, and for a moment they can hear clearly. PET may be caused by slight inflammation, and it recovers between ‘episodes’.

People often have other symptoms, such as whirring noises, (tinnitus) and earache.

The cause for this condition is not known.  (Actually, the causes for most conditions are not known!).

I believe that this is another Neurological Wave Syndrome symptom. It has responded to long-term Resolution Magic techniques. Just keep going with the “Go-Aways” – it will eventually pay off. You really will have to keep a chart as this symptom may take 8-12 months to gradually diminish. However, start now and you will conquer this by this time next year!

You may worry that your Eustachian tube is physically imperfect, and that it is going to be permanently open.  PET often ‘suddenly improves’, and this would not be possible if this was a permanent fault.  Give Resolution Magic a try, and let me know how you get on!  I welcome all of your feedback – please contact me via the contact page on the website.
